I can’t believe everything that is going on right now, not only in our country, but also around the world. I remember watching CNN 10 with my students when the Corona Virus was taking over China, and I thought–man I can’t believe a virus could shut down an entire city, disrupting lives in such a Hollywood movie kind of way. Never did I think, or expect, that this virus would make its way to our country to the point where we are social distancing, working from home, and doing our parts to decrease the number of people who become infected.
Sitting here, while my kiddos are watching Disney, I can’t help but feel thankful for this time with them, but my heart also goes out to all those people–around the world, who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
As Americans are trying to navigate this new normal, most of us are having to work from the confines of our homes. I think, like I mentioned in my previous blog post, it is so important to get up and get ready–as if you were getting ready for work. Something about getting ready allows a sense of accomplishment and allows room for a productive working mentality.
So, as I sit here, writing this blog post in my PJ’s (thinking about what comfy outfit I am going to wear today), I am going to link two more style and comfort outfits that will hopefully add some style and comfort in your life.
I love how simple this outfit is. I chose a crop top with some super soft and comfy joggers (with an elastic band). I don’t know about you, but this outfit screams comfort to me. I also added some STEVE MADDEN Golden Goose dupes that are trending right now. They have great reviews come naturally distressed.
That Outfit
I am a little biased and LOVE this outfit. I chose a Henley top to wear with some shorts. The perfect combination for working at home. I had to add my favorite pair of Birkenstock’s to bring the outfit together.
WHICH IS YOUR FAVORITE?!
Please let me know if there is anything I can do from afar to pray for you or your family! I hope you all stay well and healthy! Let’s get through this together by all doing our part to help those around us!
Happy Shopping,
