Daddy Daughter Dance

Oh my word, Lilli and David had the absolute best time at the Daddy Daughter Dance at her school.
Growing up, I didn’t have this opportunity but I would have loved to. Knowing how special a day like today is, we let Lilli have complete control over what she wanted to wear and how she wanted her hair. We shopped at Target, and my in-laws bought her the outfit to make her feel extra special for their date night.
My 6 year old is such a girly girl and to be honest, so opposite of her mommy, so we truly let her take the reigns as this was such a special day–as I would have picked out something she probably would not have liked.
There is something so special between the bond of daddy and daughter. With David, my husband, working a lot more recently, we wanted to document the occasion so Lilli could always remember her first date was with her daddy–a day when his undivided attention is on his baby girl!
